Salary Range: $45,000–$55,000 + Bonus Opportunities

We’re a family-owned, fast-growing Floor Coverings International franchise bringing a personalized, high-touch flooring experience to our local community. As our Office Manager, you won’t just “manage tasks” — you’ll help shape the heartbeat of the business and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer journey.

You’ll wear many hats in this dynamic role: overseeing daily operations, coordinating schedules, supporting marketing initiatives, engaging with customers over the phone, and ensuring every detail runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your ideas won’t just be welcomed — they’ll help define how we grow. Experience in flooring, construction, or home improvement is a strong plus and will help you thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do:
Be the Heart of the Customer Experience
  • Serve as the friendly face and voice of our business, ensuring every customer has a seamless, 5-star experience.
  • Converting leads to appointments for our Design Associates and follow up on open proposals to keep projects moving forward.
  • Support and execute local marketing initiatives to grow brand awareness.
  • Represent Floor Coverings International at home shows and community events (occasional evenings/weekends).
Keep the Business Running Smoothly
  • Maintain an organized, welcoming office environment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and partner with bookkeeper to keep QuickBooks updated daily.
  • Update Salesforce daily with job progress and scheduling (training provided).
  • Manage team calendars, marketing activities, and Owner commitments.
  • Meet weekly with the Owner to review sales, align on project timelines, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Take ownership of key operational and administrative functions so the Owner can focus on growth and revenue.

Who You Are
  • A strong, confident communicator—especially on the phone.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented—you love structure and efficiency.
  • A multitasking pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and managing basic bookkeeping tasks is preferred, but not required.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and energized by taking initiative.
Devin – Owner, Floor Coverings International, The Woodlands
Devin is the newest owner of the Floor Coverings International territory in The Woodlands. He brings a strong background in engineering, business, and marketing, holding a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with a minor in Marketing.

Before joining FCI, Devin spent five years at ExxonMobil in Global Marketing, Field Marketing, and Sales. He then earned his MBA from Stanford University and worked three years as a management consultant at Bain & Company. While on a promising path to promotion, Devin had always dreamed of owning his own business—and now he is making that vision a reality.

Family is at the center of Devin’s life. He is soon to be married, and his fiancée and loved ones are a top priority. He also enjoys exercise, travel, and sports, having played football at Oklahoma State University.

In addition to his professional and athletic achievements, Devin is a published author and TEDx speaker. He has written a short e-book and traveled extensively, sharing his insights on resilience and overcoming challenges with schools and organizations.

For fun, Devin loves to travel and has explored approximately 25 countries.
